Study on Hydroponic Cultivation of Mentha canadensis Cuttings

AbstractObetive]ToexploretheefectofhydroponicconditiosontherotingofMenthacandensis explants.MethdUsingMentha spicataandMenthasuaveolensbranchesgointhesameyearasmaterials,therotingsiteandrotigtiefMenthcanadensswereb servedandttigratedotlngthfentcndesisemeasedhfsootesoctratiosdrat timeonthehydroponicotingofMenthacnadensiseresstematicallsudiedResultUnderhydroponiconditions,Menthadesis cutingsegantotakerootafter3days.NAA,IBAandABTtreatmentscouldpromotetheskinandintederotingofMentaspicataand Mentha suaveolens,and the roting rate of Mentha spicata and Mentha suaveolens treated by NAA and IBA was up to 100% .The root length of MenthaspicatcutreatedwithABwasetertantatofotertreatments,andeotlengthofMenthsuaeolnsratedwithwateras longerthanthatofothertreatments.Therootlengthofspeamintreatedwith5Omg/LIBAfor1minand0Omg/LABTfor1Ominwas the longest.TherotlengthofMenthasuaeolens treatedithwaterfor1minwasthlongest.IBAandABTweremoreefectiveinpromotingthe rootlengthofMentaspicata,ilewaterandAAwereeterinpromotingteotngthofMentasuaeolesesurvialatefMeth spicata and Mentha suaveolens was 100% after transplanting under different hydroponic treatment. [Conclusion] Hormone type,mass concentratinandtreamenttiefecttebrdngofMentacanadensiscutingsihyropoicsNAA,BAandBtreamentsouldproote MenthacanadesisngdootgationdteooetyndcetratiosatouldprooteteotgothofdiftMt canadensis varieties are different. Mentha spicata was treated with 500mg/L IBA concentration for 1 min. The cuttings had high rooting rate and developed roots,which could produce high-quality mint hydroponic seedlings.
