AbstractThe current status and innovative practices of forestry development were outlined in Liuzhai Village， Jieshou.The forestry industry inthe study area faces isses such assuboptimal management and operation， underdeveloped understory economy，insuficient market-oriented industrial chais，andalackof technologicalsupport. Inresponse，four targeted strategic models have beendeveloped：large-scale cultivationof Catalpa bungei and Blue Ice Cypress through“village-enterprise”cooperation to improve operational eficiency;diversifiedunderstory economy through composite modelssuchasforest-sheep，forest-poultry，andforest-cicada systems，alongsidethecultivationof Arundo donax and Artemisia argyi; value-added processing and brand packaging of Ziziphus jujuba Yulingdang to enhance market competitiveness;andcollaboration with research institutions toapplysoil improvement and mycorrhizal fertilizertechnologies to strengthenscientific demonstrationand extension.The studyarea hasestablisheda development model centered on large-scale operation，characterized bya compositeunderstory economy，supported by technology-driven forestry，and driven bybrandbuilding.This studyprovides insights foroptimizing forestryresource allocation and improving rural forestry industrial chains.
