Abstract:Beforeusingphasedarraybeams tcarryoutlargescalehoppinginfieldofviewofommunicationsatelite,it'secessarytoplanthepositionofhoppingbeam.Andthegeneralpracticeistoimplementstaticprogrammingaordingtothelongiudend latitudefsurfaceorthquallydividedazimuthadelevationanglesofsatelie.Intispape,weproposeamethdwhichcaniect lygeneratetheumberandcenterofhopping-beampositionsbasedonthegeograpicallocationofsatellteterminals,andcoprehn sivelyusealgorithmssuchasspatialcordinatetransformation,minimumsetcoverandsmallstcirclecover.Simulationresultsshows that:comparedwithtraditionalmethodforthesameuserscaleandpostiondistribution,thenewmetodcangreatlyreducethenumber of hopping beam positions without significantly increasing computation time.
