Abstract:Atransparentmetasurfaceantennaarayforvehicle windowglassisproposed tomeettheneedsof vehicle-mounted satelitecommunication.Comparedwithtraditionalmetasurfaceantennaarraytheproposedarraysignificantlyenancesbadwidth andimprovesgain performance byloadinganon-uniform metasurfaceona microstrippatch antennaandutilizing polarizationconversioncharacteristcsandmutioderesonanecharacteristicsofon-unifommetasuface.Aone-to-foursequentialotatingfeedet work is designed to be combined with the metasurface antenna to construct a 2×2 antenna array,and the effects of array element spacingandarraybendingontheperformanceoftheantennaarrayarealsoanalyzed.Theantennaarryispreparedbyusingmicro copper esh asconductorandPoly Ethylene Terephthalate (PET)as substrate,and simulationandexperimentalresultsshowthat theantennaarray'simpedance and Axial Ratio(AR)bandwidths are 1.74~2.31 GHz and 1 1.89~2.31 GHz,respectively,and the gaininthefrequencybandis13.dBipeak.TheperformanceofthearrymtsthedemandofS-bandsatelitecommunicationater bending thearrysurface.Theproposedantennarryischaracterizedbyhighgain,CircularPolarization(CP),transparencyand conformality.
