Abstract:Waterborne polyurethane isan important polymer.In this study,acrylate monomer was usedas the solvent to reduce the viscosity of polyurethane prepolymer,which was chain-expanded,neutralized,emulsified with water,and then polymerized withacrylate monomers.The mechanical properties ofthe film were investigated after thecomposite emulsion was prepared,the ratioof acrylate to polyurethane and the efects of diffrent acrylate on the mechanical propertiesofthefilm were investigated.Theresultsshow thatthemechanical propertiesof thefilm prepared by this method are excellent.The tensile strength of the filmis45.17 MPa,theelongation at break is 400.6% ,and the Young's modulus is 332.70 MPa.
