Study on Geological Environment Problems and Prevention Countermeasures in Barite Mining Area

(1.Guizhou Tianyue Enginering Technology Co.,Ltd.;2.Zunyi Xinpu NewDistrict Emergency Management Bureau) Abstract:[Objective]Inviewof the geologicalenvironment problems causedbybarite mining,thescientific prevention andcontrolcountermeasures are put forward byanalyzing itscurrentsituationandcauses,soas to provide theoreticaland practical basis forprotecting the geological environment ofbaritemine and promoting thesustainabledevelopmentof mining industry.[Methods]Takingbaritemineastheresearchobject,themethodsoffieldinvestigationanddataanalysisareusedto systematicallsortout theproblems suchas topographicand geomorphicdamage,landresource occupationand destruction, water resource polutionandgeological disaster hiddendangers inthemining processandthegeological,technicaland managementcausesofthe problemsarealsoanalyzed.[Result]Theresultsrevealthatbarite mining hasledtothechangeof primarytopographyand geomorphology,the destruction of landresources,thecollapse and landslide induced by high and steep slope and goaf.The analysis shows that unreasonable mining layout,extensive technologyand lagging environmental protection measures are the main reasons.[Conclusion] The targeted prevention and controlcountermeasures are put forward to realize the coordinated development of barite mining and geological environment protection.
