DevelopmentofIndustry Standards and Future Prospects for Supercapacitors

Abstract: [Objective] Supercapacitors,as eficient energystorage devices,are widelyused in fields such asrenewable energyandrail transportation.However,the developmentof industry standardslags behind technological development, which restricts industrial collaboration and the enhancement of internationalcompetitiveness.This paper aims to systematicallysortoutthecurrent statusof industry standards forsupercapacitors both domesticallyand internationaly and conduct research oncore issues suchasthe diversificationof technologicalroutes and significant diferences in standards systems.[Methods] This paper comprehensively reviews the technological routes and standards for supercapacitors both domesticallyand internationally,and analyzes their curent status and diferences.Byconsidering thecharacteristicsofvarious technologicalroutes suchas double-layercapacitors,pseudocapacitors,and hybridcapacitors, it reveals three major contradictions existing in the current standards system: insufficient compatibility between technologicalroutesandstandards,weakcompatibilitybetweendomesticandinternationalstandards,andanincomplete standards system.[Results] Basedonthis,ahierarchical standard construction framework is proposed,which centerson technological innovation.Through a“layered progression”standards system,industrial chaincolaboration,and policy support,the goal is to achieve domestic substitution and internationalcollaborative development, thereby enhancing China's dominant position in the global industrial chain.[Conclusion] The research provide systematic reference for industry policy formulationand technological breakthroughs byenterprises,emphasizing thatstandarddevelopmentshould dynamicallycollaborate withtechnologicalinnovationtopromote the standardizationand internationaldevelopmentof the supercapacitor industry.
