Research on the Current Situation and Development Pathof Internationalization ofHealth Standards in China

Abstract： [Objective]This paper aims to explore the current development status， main existing problems and challenges of theinternationalizationof health standards in China，and propose future development ideas.[Methods]Through questionnaire surveys from November 2023 to February 2024，193valid questionnaires were collcted and analyzed， covering 170 relevant unitsand 23 technical commitees.And interviews were held with domestic technicalcounterpart units related to the healthand welnessfield in ISO.[Results] Theresearch finds that although certain progresshasbeen madeintheinternationalizationofhealthstandardsinChina，itisstillinitsinfancyandfacesmanychallenges.Themain problems include： insuficient participationin international standardizationwork，the systematiccoordination needs to be improved，lackoffinancialandtalentguarantees，andthedifferences between Chineseandforeignstandardsystems. [Conclusion] Based on the research results，the paper proposes targeted countermeasuresand suggestions，including strengtheningcapacitybuilding，consolidating the working foundation，enhancingtop-leveldesign，improving theworking mechanism，andmakingfriendsforinternationalstandardizationwork;buildaninternationalizedtalentteamfortandards and enhance thesynergybetweendomesticand international standards，etc.，withtheaimofprovidingusefulreferences forpromotingtheinternationalizationofhealthstandardsinChina.
