Research on the Impact of Data Standards on the Digital Economy and Countermeasures

Abstract： [Objective]To studythe impactof data standardsonthe digital economyand put forwardcountermeasures and suggestions to promote the high-quality development of the digital economy.[Methods] By constructing a theoreticalframework fordatastandards toinfluence thedigitaleconomy，combined with theWesterneconomic theory，the paper analyzes the impact of data standards in transaction costs， network externalities，technological innovation，resource allocation and market structure. [Results] Data standards afect the development of the digital economy through multiple effects.The effect in the short term depends on the netefct，and promote the developmentof the digital economyinthe long term.Inaddition，the processofdata standardization still faces challenges such as imperfect standards system，disconnectionbetween technologyand standards，data securityand privacy protection，and intensified competition for international cooperation and rules.[Conclusion] Improving thedata standardssystem，dynamicallyupdating data standards，strengtheningcooperation ininternational data standards，andbuildinga solid data securitydefense linecan furtherrelease thepotentialof data elements，promote the high-quality development of the digital economy，and improve China’s competitiveness in global digital competition.
