Abstract:In this paper,the influence of high-precision control system on the roling processof universal rolling mill was studied.The position deviation of axial position between rolswith diferent sets and under stressand nonstressduring roling processwas mainlystudied, whichresulted indecreased production stability.Therefore,real-time monitoring ofaxial position was needed,monitoringdata wasanalyzed,andadatamodelwas gradualyestablished.The results showthat there isaproblem inzerocalibrationofuniversalrolling millandedgerolling machine,thatis,heaxial measurementis basedon the bearing seatto measure theaxial position between therolland the bearing seat,but the relative positionbetweentherollandtherollisrequiredinactualproduction,especiallytherelativepositionfluctuation under the stress state will affect the output and quality of the rail torsion,upwarping and downbending.
