Abstract：Asamajor global sourceofcarbonemisions，thelow-carbon transformationof thesteel industry isof crucial significance for achieving the "dual carbon" goals （carbon peaking and carbon neutrality）.This paper takes voestalpine’s greentec steel strategyas theresearchobject，and explores the path options forlow-carbon transition of traditional iron andsteel enterprises byanalyzing its specific practices in technological breakthroughs，product innovation，and industrial chaincolaboration.Theresearch finds that voestalpine hasbuilt a transition model with bothenvironmentalbenefitsand economicfeasibility through the technicalrouteof paralel hydrogen-basedreduction and electricarc furnace transformation，scenario-basedlow-carbonproduct innovation，andcross-industry industrial chain collboration.This practice provides valuable experiences of gradual substitution，value capture mechanism，and ecosystemconstructionfortheglobalironandsteelindustry，andofersimportantinsightsforpromoting thesustainable development of high-carbon manufacturing industries.
