Abstract:Cast pig iron is decomposed bya mixture of hydrochloricacidand nitric acid,with perchloricacid emiting smoke and potasium permanganate oxidizing todestroycarbides.Itis prepared intoa solution and excitedand ionized by high-temperature plasma using an inductively coupled plasma spectrometer to generate atomic emission spectroscopy signals.Thedetectedspectralsignalsareanalyzedandappropriate spectrallinesareselectedtodeterminethespectral intensityofmanganese,phosphorus,titanium,andsilicon elements,calculatethe mass fractionof each elementbasedon the working curve.Theaccuracyand precisionofthis methodfordetecting manganese,phosphorus,titanium,and silicon in cast iron meet the requirements.
