ELECTRICAL OPTIMIZATION AND UPGRADEOF THE COMBUSTIONSYSTEMOFXUANGANGBARHEATING FURNACE

Abstract:This paper conducts aresearch onthe electrical optimization and upgrade of the combustion system of Xuangang bar heating furnace.By changing the combustion medium from a mixture of blast furnace gas,coke oven gas and converter gas to the separate combustion of natural gas or coke oven gas,the goal of energy conservation and emission reductionis achieved.The research content includes the renovation ofthe combustion system,theoptimization of theinstrumentcontrolsystem,theredesignof thehuman-machineoperation interface,etc.Aftertherenovation,the thermal effciencyof the heating furnace hasbeensignificantly improved,energyconsumption hasbeen greatlyreduced, harmful gas and carbon emissons have been decreased,resulting in good economic and social benefits.
