Abstract:The blast furnace taphole is the critical channel through which molten iron and slag are discharged during ironmaking,and itssealing performance directly impacts the stable operation of the furnace and overall production eficiency.Asacore methodtoensure tapholesealing,the tapholemud shooting sealing technologyhaslong beenafocal areain blast furnace ironmaking research.This paper explores and applies the hydraulic mud shoting machine docking technology fortaphole sealing,comprehensivelyanalyzingthestrengthsand weaknessesof existing techniques.Multiple improvement measuresare proposed,includingoptimizationof nozzlecap materials,innovativedesignof mud sleeve structures,implementation of rapid nozzlecap replacement technology,and enhancement ofanhydrous tapholeclay performance.The studyaims to provide comprehensive theoretical supportand practical guidance for optimizing blast furnace ironmaking technology.
