Abstract：This paper conducts a comprehensive analysis of the current state of the yak industry in Nyingchi City，delving into the challnges itconfrontsand proposing strategic measures for itsadvancement.The article highlights the pivotalroleoftheyak industrywithintheeconomic，cultural，andsocial fabricof NyingchiCity，tracing the evolution ofthe sector.Itfocuses on analyzing thescale and distribution of yak farming，as wellas the structureof the industrial chain.Inresponse to isuessuch as natural environmental constraints，laging farming techniques，and slowmarketand brand development that the yak industry encounters during itsgrowth，the paper proposes development recommendations including enhancingfarming technology，strengthening industrialchain integration， promoting breed improvement，and reinforcing brand building.Additionally，thearticle offers a perspective on the future development prospects of the yak industry in Nyingchi City.
