Abstract：Intensice pond culture and“cultivate Hydrilla verticillata and breeding shrimp”are the two most typical culture modelsof macrobrachiumrosenbergi in Guangdong province.This studywas invetigate to comparative the efects of two cultrue molelson growth performance，body composition，muscle amino acid composition and economic benefitofM.rosenbergii.Theresults showed that the final bodysize，condiction factorand freshness of M rosenbergi producedunder the two cultrue models including intensice pond cultureand“cultivate H.verticilataand breding shrimp”had significant difference.The contents of crude proteinandcalciumcompositionin thewhole body， essential amino acids，flavorable amino acidsand total amino acids in the shrimp muscle under the“cultivate H verticilltaand breeding shrimp”model were significantly higher than thoseunder the intensicepondmodel.The income，net profit，input-output ratio and cost profit margin of“cultivate H verticillata and breeding shrimp”model were obviously higher than that of the intensice pond model.These results indicated that the M. rosenbergiiproduced under the the“cultivate H⋅ ，verticillata and breeding shrimp”model is more in line with the taste of producers and consumers，anditissuggested toadopt itinproductionpracticeand promote it.Theresultsprovidedareference for the selection of culture mode of M. rosenbergii.
