Analysis of the Impact and Spatial Effects of New Quality Productivity on Urban-Rural Integration

Abstract：Against the backdrop of urban-rural integration becoming the core path to resolving the dual urbanrural structure and new-type productivity becoming an important engine for high-quality economic development，the interactive relationship and mechanism of action between the two have become key topics in the field of regionalcoordinated development.This study selects panel data from 3O provinces in China from 2010 to 2023 and uses panel regression，robustness tests，heterogeneity analysis，and spatial econometric methods to systematically explore the impact， transmission paths，and spatial characteristics of new-type productivity on urban-rural integration. The research results show that new-type productivity has a significant positive effect onurban-rural integration，and this conclusion remains reliable after robustness tests；industrial structure upgrading and government actions are important transmisson paths through which new-type productivity promotes urban-rural integration；heterogeneity features indicate that the promoting efect of new-type productivity on urban-rural integration is significantly stronger in the eastern and central provinces than in the western provinces，and its impact is more pronounced in regions with lower levels of new-type productivity; spatial efect tests confirm that both new-type productivity and urban-rural integration exhibit significant spatial spillover effects，showing spatial clustering characteristics of high-high and low-low.This study provides empirical evidence for revealing the intrinsic logic of new-type productivity empowering urban-rural integration and has important practical reference value for cultivating new-type productivity in accordance with local conditions， strengthening regional coordination，and promoting coordinated urban-rural development.
