Economic Benefit Evaluation of Marine Ecological Restoration Projects Based on Entropy Weight TOPSIS Model: Taking the Zhoushan National “Blue Bay” Remediation Action Project as an Example

Abstract:At present,domestic marine ecological restoration projects in China primarily focus on short-term monitoring and evaluation of ecological effcts or benefits.Research on economic and social benefit assessments remainsrelativelyscarce,andamedium tolong-term effctivenessassessment system has notyet been established. Taking the Zhoushan National “Blue Bay” Remediation Action Project,which was declared in 2016 and completed at the end of 2019,as an example,this paper adopts the entropy weight TOPSIS model, selects several economic benefit assessment indicators,constructs an economic benefit evaluation index system for marine ecological restoration projects,and evaluates the economic benefits of the project.The results indicate that the mplementation of the Zhoushan“Blue Bay”Remediation Action project has significantly boosted regional economicbenefits.This studycan provideareferencefor futureresearch and practicalapplications in the assessment ofmarine ecological restoration effectiveness.
