Research on the Mechanisms and Paths of Marine Sports Events Empowering Shenzhen’s Marine Center City： Taking the China Cup International Regatta as an Example

Abstract： This paper studies the mechanism and path of well-known marine sports events to empower Shenzhen to build a global marine center city，discusss the role of well-known marine sports events inenhancing the city’s brand image，promoting economic development，and promoting cultural exchanges，and proposes strategies to enhance the city's brand awarenessand influence through cultural integration，media communicationand infrastructure improvement.Taking the China Cup International Regata as an example，this paper expounds the development process of the China Cup International Regatta，its role in promoting the constructionof Shenzhen as a marine center city，andthe demonstrationefectonthe internationalizationofother marine sports events.Inorder to furtherplay the enabling roleof well-knownmarine sports events and promote the constructionand development of Shenzhen’s marine central city，it proposes specific pathssuchas improving the marinesportsevent system，building first-clasmarine sports facilities，cultivating marine sports culture，and strengthening international exchanges and cooperation.
