XGT-O1 Application Research on Rigid-Flexible Combination of Pourin Asphalt Pavement

Abstract: [Purposes] In view of the fact that existing asphalt pavement is prone to ruting and structural damage under high temperature and heavy load conditions,and that conventional modified asphalt or anti-rutting agents are dificult to meet the long-term durability requirements,a new type of pavement with excellent anti-ruting performance,XGT-O1 high-performance rigid-flexible combined poured asphalt pavement,was developed to improve the anti-rutting ability of asphalt pavement and guide its engineering application. [Methods] Based on the pavement structure and raw materials,the grouting effect, strength and pavement performance of the new type of pavement were analyzed,followed by research on the construction process,including the paving of asphalt mixture,sealing treatment,preparation of cement-based grouting material and self-flowing grouting construction, surface treatment by grout scraping,and finally maintenance and opening to traffic.[Findings]The grouting effect of the special grouting material is1.12 times the saturation degree of ordinary grouting material, while its 3 h early strength can reach 24MPa ,compared to only 2 MPa for ordinary grouting material.Additionally,indexes such as Marshallstability and dynamic stability are far greater than those of SMA asphalt mixture,demonstrating excellent rutting resistance performance.[Conclusions] XGT-Ol combines the elasticity of asphalt concrete with the rigidity of cement-based grout,exhibiting excellent rutting resistance,short maintenance period,and convenient construction. It thus possesses good and wide promotion value.
