Research on the Educational Information System for Social Communication Skills of Children with Autism from the Perspective of Neuroscience

Abstract:[Purposes] To explore a scientific educational pathway for improving the social communication skills of children with autism,addressthe current challenges in enhancing these skills,and identify research hotspots and technology integration trends in the fields of neuroscience,augmented reality technology,and the education and rehabilitation of children with autism.[Methods] From a neuroscience perspective,a correlational analysis of literature in related fields was conducted.Considering the neural mechanisms underlying weak atentionand diffculty in information reception in children with autism,an augmented reality immersive training system was designed and developed using Leap Motion devices and the Unity engine as the core.The system enables training in concrete life scenarios such as eating, washing,and dressing. [Findings] The developed augmented reality immersive training system features amulti-level architecture and can effectively provide life-scenario training.Testing and verification confirmed that the system possesses strong interactive and auxiliary training functions,ofering technical support for improving the social communication skils of children with autism.[Conclusions] This system provides a new scientific method for educating children with autism in social communication skills and offrs a practical reference for the integrated application of neuroscience and augmented reality technologyin their education and rehabilitation.
