Abstract：The platform economy is a new economic form emerging from the transformation of social production modes. While greatly enhancing social production efficiency，it also bringsabout many practical issues，which are the inevitable outcomes of its capital accumulation.The platform economy consists of threemajor components： platform enterprises， data commodities，and bilateral customers.The productionof surplus valuebased on the production of data commodities andtherealization of surplus value based on bilateralcustomers jointlyform the foundationof capital accumulation in the platform economy.Through four methods：surplus value rate，labor productivity，the diference between capital employed and capital expended，andthesizeof prepaid capital，digitalcapitalinthe platform economyachieves rapid expansion of capital acumulation scale and has a profound impact on laborers and market structure.Based on a clear understanding of thetheoreticallogic behind theexpansionof the platformeconomyandtheproblems itgenerates，itis necessaryto regulate and guidethe healthydevelopmentof theplatform economy，making ita positive forcefor high-quality e- conomic development.
