AbstractTomee environmentalrequirementsforgascolectioninsmelting plant,itisnecessry toenclosethecastingcute andstelladleareaasadeenclosure.Tisresultsinthesuoundingstelstructurebeingexposedtolong-termhigh-teperature conditions.Tosuresructuralsfetyfireprotectiondesignasiplementedfortestelstucturearoundeladeclosureie resistancerequrementsforkeylocations weredetermined troughfireprotectioncalculations,andthreecommonlyusedfireprotection solutions-rammingmass,rockwoolinsulationlayers,andrefractorybrickmasonry-werecomparedintermsofstructural characteristics,constructionfeasibityandmaintenancepeformane.Tecalculationresultsidicatethattefireresistancetingof thesteelbeamsandfloorslabsatthetopoftheldeenclosureshouldnotbelessthan1.5hours.Itisrecommendedtocotrolthe loadratioofthestelbeamsbelowO.5andtousenon-intumescentfireprofcoatingsincombinationwithprotectivelayers.A comprehensivecomparisonconcludedthattheockwolpanelsutionofersadvantagessuchaslightself-weight,aseofisalation andlowmaintenane,making itsuitableforhigh-temperaturezonesoftheladleenclosure.Finaly,itisemphasizedthatregular inspections and timely repairs should be strengthened to ensure long-term structural safety.
