AbstractToaddressissues includingcorrosionofthecathodeframeandbarbed wires,lowoperatingcurrent,,decreaseddust handlingfciencyshellcorosion,andfueblockageintheelectrostaticprecipitatorcausedbyightemperature,highdust concentration,andstrongcorosivenessofflash furnacefluegasinacoppersmelting plantinFujian,asystematicupgradewas implemented.Onthehardwareside,modificationsweremadetocomponentssuchastherappingdeviceoftheairflowdistribution plate,cathodewires,anoderappinghammersandshaft sleeves,quartz basinsintheinsulationbox,manhole doors,andsuprt columns,alongwiththeitroductionofaighfrequencypowersupply.Onthsoftwareside,measuesincludingprecisecontrolofthe inletfluegastemperature,strictmanagementofairleakage,andimprovedinspectionandmaintenanceprotocolswereadoptedto achieveompeesieptizatiooftelectrostaticprecipiator.Aftertheupgade,telectricfelduentinceasedsigiicantly the copper content in waste acid stabilized below 100mg/L , the air leakage rate was reduced to less than 5% ,and the dust handling efficiency exceeded 96 % . These improvements effctively reduced copper losses and waste acid treatment costs,ensured safe and stable operation,and provided a reference for the renovation of similar electrostatic precipitators.
