Abstract To investigate the control efficacy of 50% dimethomorphand 53% Ridomil Gold-MZ againstblack shank of burley tobacco,Eyan No.1 was used as the test material,and 5 treatments were setup,including 50% dimethomorph (T1), 53% Ridomil Gold-MZ (T2), 50% dimethomorph +53% Ridomil Gold-MZ + 50% dimethomorph (T3), 72.2% propamocarb (T4),and clear water as the control (CK).The key growth stages including transplanting stage, vigorous growth stage,topping stageandmaturitystage wererecorded,andtheagronomic traits (maximum leaf length,leaf width and fectiveleaf number),disease incidenceand economic traitsof tobaccoplants were investigated.Theresultsshowed that except for slight diferences at therosulate stage,the other growth stages were basicallyconsistent among all treatments,andthefieldgrowthperiodwasalsoidentical,at105days.Aftertopping,thetobaccoplantsinT3hadlarger leavesand more effctive leaves.At1Odaysafterapplication,thedisease incidenceinT3 was significantlylower than that of other treatments ( P <0.05); the disease incidence in T3 increased at 3O days after application,which was slightly higherthan thatof T2 butstillremainedatarelativelylowlevelcomparedwithother treatments.Thecured tobacco leaves in T2andT3 had higher yield,average price,outputvalue,as well as theproportion oftop-grade and mediumgrade tobacco.Comprehensively considering the resistance risk of dimethomorph andthe priceoffungicides,the fungicide combination of 50% dimethomorph +53% Ridomil Gold-MZ +50% dimethomorph (T3) is considered for the controlof tobacco black shank disease in tobacco production,and its eficacy remains to be further verified.
