Rice cultivation techniques for coastal saline-alkali soils in Rudong area of Nantong City

AbstractThis paperanalyzed thebasic conditions for rice cultivation in the Rudongarea of Nantong City,Jiangsu Province,andsystematicallysummarized thekey technologies forlocal ricecultivation.Theregionisrich inlightand heatresourcesandhas thepotentialforincreasing rice production,buttyphoons,hightemperaturesandsoilsalinization havecertain impacts on rice production.Basedon this,the paper integrated core technologies such as variety breeding, precise waterand fertilizer management,and green preventionand control,andestablished riceplanting technologies suitable forregional ecological conditions.Specifically,it includesscreening salt-tolerant genotypes with stable resistance varieties,such as Nanjing 5055,etc.; adopting dry seedling raising technology,constructinga dry seedling bed with coordinated regulation of physical structure and chemical environment,and conducting stress adaptation training whenthesecondandahalfleaf of theseedling unfoldsand5daysbeforetransplanting tocultivateresistantand vigorous seedlings; constructing a precise controlled-release system of compound fertilizer nutrients in time and space (the peak periodofnitrogen releaseis in linewith thetillring peak period,andthephosphorusactivityis maintained untiltheyoung paniclediferentiationperiod),with theapplicationratesofnitrogen,phosphorusandpotassium fertilizers being 165,75 and 105kg/hm2 respectively; establishing a dual-track water regulation mechanism of “salt drainage and alkali suppresson-physiological water demand”,and implementing precise water regulationof“shallow water promoting tilering-inch water protecting the embryo-dry and wet preventing senescence";constructingagreen controlsystem,through the coordinated effctof physical (setting upsoundand light combination traps,etc.)and biological (spraying 2OO billion spores/g Bacilus subtilis wettablepowder,etc.)control,maintaining theratioof beneficial to harmful organisms in the paddy field ecosystem at 1:2 . This paper provides a reference for green, stable and high yield rice production in coastal saline-alkali areas
