Abstract : 【Objective】 Traditional garden landscape construction requires a series of processes such as hand-drawn plan drawings,computer-aided modeling,scene rendering,etc.,which displaytheproblemsof cumbersome process,high learningcost,and lack of intuitivenessBasedonvirtualreality(VR)gesture interaction technology,this system proposesanovel virtual garden landscape layout system,aiming to improve theuser experienceand eficiencyof garden landscape design.【Method】Firstly,avirtual wetland landscapescene wasdesignedbasedonremote sensingsatellite maps,andsecondly,the OculusQuest2devicewasused tocollecthand information forrecognizing multiple gesture patterns,and combined with the $\$ 1$ point cloud recognizer to design dynamic gesture classification algorithms to match theuser's gesture trajectories which realized theaccurate recognition of five trajectories of garden plants:solitary planting,clump planting,row planting,piece planting and free layout.In adition,this system also designed gesture interactionsystemsuitableforvirtual scenes tofacilitate theuseofusers.【Result】Thesystemdesigned inthisresearch adoptedtheunityplatformandusedC#scripting language for programming implementation,andfinallyrealizedthe functionof using gesture interaction to select plantsand constructa garden landscapein a virtual scene.Through comparativeexperiments,thelayouttimerequiredforthissystemwasslightly higherthanthatofkeyboardand mouse operations in thesolitaryplanting mode,and lower thanthoseof the keyboardand mouse operation intherowplanting, clump planting,piece planting andfree arrangement modes.【Conclusion】The gesture set generated bythis research design system is intuitive,easy to execute and memorize,and can well acomplish the task of landscape layout.The system can make a certain contribution to improving the interaction and user experience of landscape layout.
