Abstract：This paperaims to explore the standard coordinationmechanismand operationalmodelof the Mercosur Association for Standardization （AMN）and analyze its implications for China’sregional standard integration， particularly for the integrationof the Yangtze RiverDelta.Through literature analysis andcase studies，it provides a detailed examinationof AMN'sorganizational structure，standards development proces，standards adoption practices， andcollaborationmodels with institutions both withinandoutsidetheregion.The study finds thatAMN，adhering to the principleof“unifieddevelopmentand jointimplementation”，has successfullycoordinated standards development andadoptionintheCaribbeanregion，developing78regional standardsandengaging inextensivecooperation with entities suchas theEUand COPANT.Its project support and financial assistance have efectively enhanced the standardization capabilitiesof member states.Theconclusion highlights thatregional standardintegrationrequires arobust coordination mechanism，financial support，and broadcollaboration.China can learn from the AMN model and strengthen the construction of regionalcoordination institutions，promoting unified standards development and implementation.AlimitationofthisstudyisitsrelianceonthepublicinformationofAMN，withinsufficientin-depth researchontheactualimplementationof standards initsmember states.Futureresearchcould further investigate the effectivenessofstandardsimplementation.
