Abstract：Flow measurement playsavitalrole intheenergy measurement inthe petrochemical industry，which isa keytechnology forreal-time monitoringandcontrolofenergyfow.The paperanalyzes theworking principlesofflow measurement and classificationofflow measurement devices，and elaborates on the fow measurementdevices selected infieldssuchas transportationandstorageofcrudeoilandpetroleum，petrochemicalproductionprocesses，andelectric power systems，to furtheranalyze the signifcance offlow measurement inpetrochemical energy measurement.However， existing fow measurement systems inthis fieldstillhavecertainchallengesand deficiencies thatrequirecomprehensive considerationofmultiple factors toenhancetheirreliability.This paperproposes methods toensure stableandreliable flow measurement in the field of petrochemical energy measurement，including selectingappropriate flow meters， improvigmeasurementaccuracy，andconductingregularcalibration，verification，andmaintenanceoftheequipment. These measures can efectively avoid energy loss while helping enterprises optimize energy utilization and enhance production efficiency.
