Abstract：Theshoeshankisakeycomponent thatsupports thestressofshoes，andthelongitudinalstifnessreflects its abilitytoresist deformation undercertainload and specified conditions.This paper focuses on the processof detecting thelongitudinal stiffness ofshoe shanks.Fromaspectssuchasclampingand fixing theshank，applying force to the shank，measuring thedownwarddisplacementoftheshankafterbeingsubjectedtoforce，andthelengthofthe force arm，thepaperanalyzes thekeytechnicalfactorsafecting thedetectionaccuracy，and providessuggestionsonspecifc experimental methods that need to be noted.
