Abstract：Underthebackgroundofthenationalstandardizationstrategy，theinnovationoftalentcultivationsystemfor standardizationprojects inapplication-orienteduniversities has becomeacritical factorinpromotingregionaleconomic development.Theenrollmentofthestandardization engineering programatGuangdong TechnologyCollegewasofficially approvedin 2016，making itthe secondapplication-orienteduniversity in China and thefrstone in Guangdong province to offer anundergraduate program in standardization enginering.Through persistent exploration and practice，the teaching teamhassuccessfullyaddressedkeychalengessuchasensuringthecoherenceofthestandardizationdiscipline，integrating fragmentedknowledge，ndenhancingpracticalitybyestablishinginnovativeapproachesofconstructingthe“standardiation +X′′ and standardization”dual-track trainingpaths，as wellashierarchicalpracticalteaching systems.These efforts have formeddistinctiveprofesionalcharacteristics.Thisresearchoffersreplicableexperienceforthedevelopmentofstandardization engineeringprogramsinaplcationorenteduiversities，andisofgreatsgnificanceforupportingthenationalsandadzation strategyand addressing regional industrial demands.
