Application of Traditional Chinese Medicine System Theory Principles in Treatment of Oculomotor Nerve Palsy of Qi and Blood Deficiency Type

AbstractTraditional Chinese medicine（TCM）system theory is a modern theory based on the crossdisciplinary research of TCMandsystem science，which isused to solve the increasingly complex problems related tomulti-system，multi-factor，and multi-pathogenesis in modernclinical practice.Thisarticlesystematically expounds the organicandfunctional principles of TCMsystem theory，pointingoutthat theorganic principleemphasizes the interaction and overall correlation betweenvariouselementsinsideand outside the human bodysystem，while the functional principle reveals the dynamicprocess of diseases from functional disorders to structural changes.This article takesoculomotornervepalsy of“qiand blood deficiency”type as an example，combines the methodof systematic sphygmologyfor pattern differentiationand analyzes the process flow of the patient from qiand blood depletionto lossof meridian nourishment and ultimately leading to abnormal ocular function.It exploresthepathogenesisofabnormal functionofA-structuralabnormality-abnormal function of B，and emphasizes the coreof overall tonification ofqiand bloodand regulationof function Ain thetreatment in combination with therapeutic methods such asstrengthening the spleen and eliminating dampness，warming the meridiansand unblocking thecollaterals，itachieves functional repair from the overall to the local level. Itaims to demonstrate the advantages of TCM systems theory in analyzing the mechanisms of complex diseases and guiding systematic treatment，providing theoretical and clinical references for modern TCM in dealing with complex diseases involving multiple systems and factors.
