Abstract:Withtheincreasingdemandforeicientloadingndspaceutilizationinthelogisticstransportationindustrytraditional single-layercaracksvebecomeisufcientforodetasportatioeds,especiallforong-distaceceantransportofveicles.Toadrestisallnge,ovelfootdouble-yerfoldingcarrackspecificallydesignedfrmaritietransportatonispr posedinthispaper.Testructurallayoutensuresthatinthefoldedate,itompletelyfitsithintheintealdimensiosof4foot standardcontainerfaclitatinglandtransportandemptyrackreturn;intheunfoledstate,therackcanloadfourpassengerarsandis suitableforstackingandsecuringonshipdecks.Keycompoentsofterackincludehingebases,supportframes,andbaseframes,all madeofhigh-strengthsteeltoguaranteestructuralstrengthandrigidityunderharshmaritieconditions.Finiteelementanalysis(FEA) wasconductedonthecriticalperformanceofthesupportframe.Teresultsindicatethatunderauniformloadoftons,themaximum deformation is 3.24mm and the maximum stress is 174.4MPa ,both satisfying the design requirements.This research provides new insights and references for the design of logistics transportation equipment used in maritime applications.
