ABSTRACTOBJECTIVETo studythechemical components,components migrating tothe bloodand metabolitesof Sanhua decoctioninrats.METHODS Male Wistarrats were divided intoadministration groupand blank group,with 6rats in each group. The rats in the administration group were given 13.3g/kg of Sanhua decoction lyophilized powder solution by gavage once a day in themorningandevening,and theratsinthe blank group weregivenanequalvolumeofsalinebygavageonceadayinthe morningand evening,both for3consecutivedays.Plasmasampleswerecolectedfromthetwogroupsofratsafterthe last administration.Thechemicalcomponents,prototypecomponentsmigrating tothe bloodand metabolitesof Sanhuadecoctionwere analyzedbyUHPLC-Q-TOF/MStechnique.Thestructureswereidentifiedcombinedwiththeself-builtnaturalproducthighresolutiomassspectrometrydatabaseandrelevant literature.RESULTS&CONCLUSIONSTotally69compounds wereidentified fromtheyophilizedpowderofSanuadecoction,incuding29componentsfromRheumoffcinale,16componentsfromMagnoliae OfficinalisCortex,22components from AurantiiFructus Immaturus,and1Ocomponents from NotopterygiihizomaetRadix. Amongthem,3components(citricacid,L-tyrosine,adenosine)werepresentinall4medicinal herbs.Anothercomponent (feruloylgluconicacid)stillneededtobespecificallyaributedAtotalof43prototyecomponentsmgratingtoteloodwere identified,incldingfavonoids,peols,ntaqnones,penylpropanoids,lkaloidsandtriterpeois.Atotalof6ablites wereidentified,predominantlyconsitingofflavonoids,anthraquinonesandphenylpropanoids.Themetabolicpathwaysmainly involved phaseImetabolicreactions such as demethylation and phase I metabolic reactions like sulfation and glucuronidation.
