Research on Energy Security in Malaysia

—Based on Application of Energy Supply Security Assessment Model Huang Ziran （CollegeofASEANStudies，GuangxiMinzu University，Nanning530004）

Abstract：UsingtheEnergy Suppy SecurityAsessment Model （4A Model），thisstudycomprehensivelyevaluates Malaysia’senergy securitystatusfrofourdimensions：availability，accessbilityeconomicafordabilit，andenviromentalacceptabilityofeege sources.AsanimportantconyinSutheastAsia，Malasia’seergstructurereliesmainlyooilaturalgasandcoalutit years，thedevelopmentofrenewableenergyhasalsoreceivedincreasingatentionTheevaluationresultsshowthatMalaysiahasbundnt fssilenergyreseesandenomousenewableenergypotential，whichprovidearelativelystablefoundationforenergysupplyRegading accessibity，altoughMalaysiamaitaisdcopeatieelatiosipsihultipleountrisndgios，itsilldtdeste complexityofteopoliticalvioentntsofooicodabilitalasia’epricsarativelywutaluf energymportsisargIsofvioentalepabilitalasia’seosumpostilavillionabi tingfosilfuels，facingsignificantemissionreductionpresures.Basedonthevaluationsults，policyrecommendatiosareproedn cludingepandinggreenfiscalincentivestoindividualandhouseoldinvestors，contiuouslypromotingrenewablenergydevelopent， supportingsolarphotovoltaicindustries，andotiingneteeryeteringpolicies，toprovideefereneforiprovingMalasia’sy security and achieving stable，reliable，and sustainable energy supply.
