Abstract：Byusing the methods of literature review，field investigation and logical analysis，and applying the theoriesofregional coordinated development and spatial production，this study explores the mechanisms and paths forthe15th National Games to promote the high-quality development of the event economy inthe Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.The research holds that the practical predicaments for the high-quality development of the event economy in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area include significant institutionalfrictionsand barrers，aswellasslowprogress inrulealignment.Thelow-endof the event economy is locked，and the processof industrial integration is delayed.The prevalenceof short-termism in events is contrary to the requirements of green and low-carbon development.Based on this，an innovative mechanism for resource integration，industrial linkageand spatial reconstruction isconstructed，and practical pathsare proposed： breaking down administrative barriers of events and enhancing collaborative eficiency; deeply explore the economic value of events and drive industrial upgrading; widely apply digital technology to empower smart events; practice the concept of green and low-carbon，and lead the sustainable development of the event.
