Abstract：【Objective】The effectsof two transplanting methods—bare-root and balld-and-burlapped—on the growthand fruiting performance of matureswet cherry trees under protected cultivation were investigated.【Methods】Using‘Tieton’as experimental material，theimpactsofdiferentlifting methodswereevaluatedbasedontransplantsurvivalrate，rotregneration，proportionoffruiting branches，leaf development，and leaf gas exchange parameters.【Results】Transplanting methods significantlyafectedtreerecoveryandfruityield.Rootretentionlevel wasfoundtobedecisiveforpost-transplantrejuvenation and subsequent fruit production.Bareroot transplanted trees demonstrated superior performance infirst-year new root growth， branch-typecomposition，leaf development，andphotosynthetic eficiencycompared toballed-and-burlapped trees.【Conclusion】The study provides scientific support for improving transplant suessrates of mature sweet cherry trees and optimizing protected cultivation techniques.
