Abstract：【Objective】The purpose of this study was to evaluate the adaptabilityof diferent sweet cherrycultivars in Jinzhongarea，andtoprovidescientificbasisfortheselectionoflocalswetcherrycultivarsandtheimprovementofcultivation techniques.【Methods】In2O21，anumberofsweetcherycultivars were introduced inTaiguareaofJinzhong fortrial plant ing.Thephenologicalperiod，floralorgancharacteristics，shoot growth，internodelength，leafareaandfruitexternalquality offour cultivarsofLuying 3，Luying5，Luying8andRussia8were investigatedandanalyzed.【Results】Theresults showed thatthe fruit growth periodof thefoursweecherrycultivarsrangedfrom40to48days.Luying 3was thefirstto mature，followed byRusia8，Luying8andLuying 5.The newshootsofLuying8grewfaster，andtheinternode lengthand leaf area werethelargest.TheflowerdiameterofRussia8isthelargest，butthestyleispronetodoublestigma.Inaddition，thesingle fruit weight of Luying 3 reached 9.53g ，which was significantly higher than that of the other three varieties （ P<0.05 ） 【Conclusion】Comprehensive analysis showed that thefourswetcherrycultivarsshowedcertainadaptabilityin Jinzhongarea， butthespecificcultivationstrategiesshouldbeadjustedaccordingtothecharacteristicsofthecultivarstoachievethebestco nomic and ecological benefits.
