Clinical Observation on25 Cases of Knee Osteoarthritis Using the Combined TechniquesofAcupotomologyandManipulationforPelvicAlignment

Abstract：ObjectiveToexploretheclinicalefectofacupotomologycombinedwithpelvicadjustmenttechniqueinthetreatment ofkneeosteoarthitis（KOA）.MethodsFiftypatientsithneeosteoarritsombinedwithpelvictiltadmitedtoourospitalwere selected.Thesepatients wererandomlydividedintotwo groups.Thecontrolgroup（25cases）receivedroutinetreatmentwithdiclofenacenteric-coatedtablets，whiletheobservationgroup（25cases）received“acupotomologycombined withpelvictechnique”treatment.Thechangesinpainintensity，kneejointfunctioscoresofthetwogroups wereoservedafteroneandtwomonthsoftratment. Results After one month of treatment，the VASand LKSscores inboth groups were better thanbefore treatment （ P<0.05 ），and there was no significant difference in VAS and LKS scores between the two groups（ P>0.05 ）．After two months of treatment，the VAS and LKS scores in both groups were better than one month before （ P<0.05 ），with no significant difference in VAS scores between the two groups （ P>0.05 ）.The LKS score of the observation group was better than that of the control group （ P<0.05 ）. Conclusion Acupotomologycombinedwithpelvicadjustmenttechniquecanreducekneejointpaininpatientswithkneeosteoarthritisandpelvictilt， and promote improvement in knee joint function.

膝骨关节炎（kneeosteoarthritis，KOA）是一种关节退行性疾病，属于中医的“骨痹”“痹证”范畴，是以膝关节软骨退行性变、软骨下骨质反应性改变、关节边缘骨赘形成、滑膜病变、韧带松弛或挛缩、关节囊挛缩、肌肉痿软无力等为特征的慢性关节疾病[1]。（剩余7007字）
