Abstract：Tripterygium hypoglaucum（Levl.）Hutch wasfirstrecordedinthefamousmedicaltextDianNanBen Cao（Herbalof SouthernYunnan）bytherenowedmdicalscientistLanMao.Itpossses efectsicludingdispellngwindandremovingdampess， promotingbloodciulationtoduceswellng，waringtendonstollviatepai，joningbonesndepaiingsines，ndkiligpasitestoremove toxins.Itisprimarilyused to treat autoimmune diseases suchasrheumatoidarthris，systemic lupus erythematosus， andpsoriasis，emonstratingsignificantcinicalapplicationalue.Duetoetoxicityofipterygmhoglucum（Levl.）Hutch，its clinicalusefcescertanitatioserforeesearingitspharmacologialactionsandsfetyisparticularlyucial.etodsuch as processigandTCMformulationcompatibilitycanplayaroleinenhancingeficacywhilereducing toxicityBysummarizingthe pharmacologicalresearchandToxicityReductionStrategyonTripterygimhypoglaucum（Levl.）Hutchbothdomesticallyandtetionally，this review aims to provide a reference for standardized and safe clinical medication.
