Construction and Evolution Analysis of the Knowledge Collaboration Network in the Advanced Manufacturing Clusters in the Yangtze River Delta Region

Abstract：Against the backdrop of global economic integration and rapid technological development，advanced manufacturing clusters have emerged as a crucial force in enhancing the competitiveness of regional manufacturing industries. The construction of knowledge collaboration networks is of great significance.This paper takes 18 national -level advanced manufacturing clusters in the Yangtze River Delta as the research objects.Based on the patent data from 2014 to 2023，it uses UCINET software to draw the topological maps of knowledge collaboration networks and applies the social network analysis method to analyze the evolution regularities of network structures from dimensions such as network density，centrality，and structural holes.The research findings indicate that although some clusters in economically developed cities are large 一 scale，there are problems such as low density of knowledge collaboration networks and poor accessibility. Accordingly，optimization strategies are proposed from three levels：the government，advanced manufacturing enterprises，and universities and research institutions.The aim is to improve the knowledge collaboration networks of advanced manufacturing clusters in the Yangtze River Delta，enhance the efficiency of collaborative innovation，and help them maintain a leading position in global competition.
