'romote or Inhibit？ New Quality Productivity of Enterprises and Employment of Labor Force

Abstract：Promoting high-quality and full employment is the new positioning and misson of employment work in the new era and new journey.Using the data of A-share listed companies in China from 2013-2023，this paper discusses the impact of new productivity on labor employment and its transmission mechanism from the micro level.The study found that new productivity willsignificantly improve the employment level of enterprise labor force，and this effect is mainly achieved through the easing mechanism of financing constraints，the increasing mechanism of labor income share and the improving mechanism of internal control quality.At the same time，the stronger the sustainable development ability of enterprises，the greater the external wage gap，the higher the level of social trust and marketization in the region，and the more obvious the role of new productivity in promoting labor employment in enterprises.Further research shows that new productivity significantly increases the employment of high-skilled labor in enterprises and promotes the optimization of employment structure in enterprises. This paper helps to accurately assess the employment effect of new quality productivity，and provides empirical evidence and useful reference for cultivating new quality productivity and achieving high-quality full employment.
