Abstract:This studyutilizes topic modeling (LDA)and sentiment analysis to examine 106,420 TCM-related posts from WeiboandX(formerly Twiter)betweenDecember 2019and May 2020.The findings reveal distinct patterns of discourse across platforms: Weibo predominantly features lifestyle-oriented content, emphasizing healthcare tipsandcultural heritage,reflecting TCM'sdeep integration into local wellness practices.Incontrast, discourse onX focuses more on internationalcollaborationand scientificvalidation,indicatingglobal audiences' expectations for TCM's modernization.Sentiment analysis shows that discussions on Weiboare largely neutral andrational,whilediscussionsonXexhibitheightened negativity,particularlyindebates involvingcross-cultural comparisons.The study highlights dual challnges in TCMcommunication:domestically,developingrelatable, everyday naratives tostrengthen public acceptance; internationally,balancing scientific credibility with cultural interpretation to foster global recognition.Accordingly,thisresearch proposes diferentiatedcommunication strategies to bridge localized practices and global dialogue,offering theoreticaland practical insights forTCM's worldwide promotion.
