Recreational fishing vessel catch survey during the spawning season of Collichthys lucidus in Feiyunjiang estuary， southern Zhejiang*

Abstract：In May during the spawning season of the Collichthys lucidus in the Feiyunjiang Estuary waters of southern Zhejiang，two recreational fishing vessel catch surveys were conducted. The survey results indicated that the dominant species by abundance were primarily the Collichthys lucidus and the Portunus trituberculatus. Analysis combining social survey data revealed a significant increase in the Collichthys lucidus population in the Feiyunjiang Estuary.The two surveys demonstrated that recreational fishing vessel catch surveys are simple and convenient，making them suitable as a supplementary method for marine fishery resource investigations. They are particularly appropriate for longterm monitoring of specific fishery resources in defined marine areas.
