[Abstract]Asglobalenvironmental polutionintensifies,the healthimpactsofparticulatemater(PM) havegarnered significantatention.PMentersthelungsthroughtherespiratorytract,trigeringaseriesofpathologicalchangesandprofoundly afectinghuman metabolicprocesss.Thisreviewsummarizestheapplicationsof metabolomics technologyininvestigating lung injuriescausedbydiferentPMcategoriesandtheinterventionswithChinesemedicine,aiming touncoverpotentialbiomarkersof PM-induced lung damage and elucidatethe protective mechanisms of Chinese medicinethroughregulationof metabolic pathways. Bysyntheiingurrntresearchisvieidentifscriicalliitationsicdinghomogeneityiniosapleselectioiiicant variabilityinreseachocoesandcalengesidatainterpretatioFutureivestigaiosouldprioriteultiicsintated analysisplatforms,promotetheintegrationofmetabolomicswithChinesemedicine,therebyprovidingnovelperspectivesand methodologies for preventing and treating PM-induced lung injuries.
