[Abstract]ObjectiveToinvestigatethecorelationbetweenfundusimagecharacteristicsandTCMpattrnsinpatientswith age-relatedmaculardegeneration （AMD）.MethodsFiftyhealthyindividualswereselectedasthehealthycontrolgroup;20OAMD patientsweredividedintothespleendeficiencywithdampnes group（SDDpattm），yindeficiencyleadingtofirehyperactivity group（YDFHpate），intertwinedpegmandbloodsasisgroup（PBSpe），anddfiiencyofteliverndidneygopLK pattem）basedonTCMpaterndiferentiation.GeneralinformationandpattrndatawererecordedOpticalcoherencetomography （OCT）wasusedtomeasurethechroidalandretinalthicknessinthemaculararea，andfundusfluoresceinangiography（A）and indocyaninegrenangiography（ICGA）wereusedtocheckthetypesofchoroidalneovascularization（CNV）inAMDpatientswith diferentTCMpatters.ResultsThecentralfovealthicknessof theAMDgroupwassignificantlygreaterthanthatofthehealthy group （ P
