[Abstract]Objective Toinvestigate the Chinese medicine patem lawsinschizophreniapatientswith overweightor obesity.MethodsAcros-sectionalstudywasonduted，collctingTCMpatteminformationof36Oshizophreniapatintswith overweightorobesitywhovisitedoutpatientclinicsorwerehospitalizedattheThirdHospitalofHeilongjiang Province（Mental andNeurologicalDiseaseHospitalofHeilongjiangProvince）anditssub-centersfromJune2O23toJune2O24.Multivariate statisticalanalyses，includingfactoranalysisandclusteranalysis，wereemployedfordimensionalityreductionandcategozation. BasicTCM patern elements （diseaselocationandnature）andpattem identificationtypeswereextractedandsummarized.Bayesian networkwasusedtopreliminarilyexploretherelationshipsofpaterns—pattrntypes—clinicalindex.ResultsNinepatern factorsandfivepatterntypeswereidentified，withtheafectedorgansinvolvingtheliver，galbladder，heart，splee，and kidney.Diseasenaturesincludeqideficiency，yang deficiency，phlegm，dampnes，qistagnation，bloodstasis，qideficiency， andfire-heat.Theidentiedpaternsincludedeficiencyoftheheartandspleen，dualdeficiencyofqiandyin，bloodstasis duetoqi deficiency，yangdeficiencyof thespleenandkidney，anddampnessstagnationtransforming intofire.Whenthe targetvariablewassetasthebodymassindex（BMI）≥24kg/m，theposteriorprobabilitiesforthepaternsofyangdeficiency ofthespleenandkidney，deficiencyoftheheartandspleen，anddampnesstransformingintofirewerethetoptree. Conclusion TheTCMpaternsinschizophreniapatientswithoverweightorobesitycanbepreliminarilycategorizedintofive types.Among them，yangdeficiencyofthesplenandkidney，dficiencyoftheheartandspleen，anddampness transfoing intofirearecommonpatternsasociatedwithhigherBMI.Multivariatestatisticalanalysescanbeusedtoexplorethepatten lawsin schizophrenia patients with overweight or obesity.
