[Abstract]Theinfrapatelarfatpadsyndrome（Hoff'sdisease）isacommonknee jointdisease.Thisstudysummarizes ProfesorQIUXiangzhongsdiagnosticandtherapeuticexperienceinintegratingChinesemedicinetheorywiththepathogenesisof thisdisease，analyzinghisunderstandingofitsetiologyandpathogenesis，aswellasthetreatmentmethodsbasedonintegrated diferentitionofbothpattmanddisease.ProfesorQUbelievesthatthecorepathogenesisliesin"liverdeficiencyandclateral obstruction"categoriingitundertheTCMframeworkof"tendonijuries"Heploysdiferentialterapeuticstrategiesforarious patterns，suchassupplementingtheliveandnourishingblood，circulatingbloodandtransforingstasisandutilzesuganJiani FormulafortreatmentThisprovidesanefectiveTCMtherapeucregimenforHofa'sdisease，holdingsigficantciicalguidance value.
