[Abstract] Bronchial asthma is a commonrespiratory diseaseand Chinese medicine ofersa unique theoretical framework anddiversetherapeuticapproachesforitsmanagementTheoccurrenceofasthmaismostlyrelatedtothedysfunctionofthelung spleen，andkidney，withthefundamentalpathogenesislyinginthedeficiencyofyangqiandexcessofyinpatogensGuidedby thetheoryof"yangdominatesandyinfollows"rofessorCHENXinyuexcelsinaplyingTCMpasteformula topreventandtreat bronchialasthmainclinicalpractice.Heputsforwardthetreatmentprinciplesofstrengtheningyangtodispelpathogensand protectthebody，warmingyangtoresolvefluidretentionandtransfomphlegm，invigoratingyang tocirculatebloodandtransfo stasis，ascendingyangtostrengthenthespleenandcotrolplegmproduction，andnourisngndstrengtheningprimordialyangto benefitthekidney，soastoregulatethebalanceofyinandyanginthebodyandhasachievedsignificantclinicaleffcacyA verified medical record isattached for illustration.
