Community Characteristics and Niche Characteristics in the NewDistribution Area of Cystopterischinensisin Sichuan Province

Abstract：Fieldinvestigations wereconductedonthreenewlydiscoveredpopulationsofCystopterischinensis inLongchiof Emeishan （LC1、LC2），Lijiashan of Hongya （HY1、HY2），and Shuangdongxiof Wawushan （WWS）.Five sample plots were established，andthommunityaracteristicsndichecharacteristicserestematicallyalyzed.Acomparativeaalysiswas performedwiththeriginalpopulationinErlangshan.Theresultsaredescribedasfollws.（1）Thecommunityinthenewdistribution areahadhigherspeiesrichnessandMargalefrichnessindexthantheErlangshancommunitypresentingamorecomplexvertical structure（ful-ayerdevelopmentoftrees，srubs，anderbs）.（2）CcinensissowedthewidestnichewidthinothsampleplotsHY2 andLC2，demostratingarongesourceutilatiocapacityHwever，itempleplotLCthisseciessowcasdlce width，whichindicatedthatitsadaptabilitywasaectedbyhabitattypesandumandisturbances.（3）Thenichesimilritybetwen C chinensis and other species varied greatly （ranging from O.095 to 0.712），and the niche overlap degrees of C .chinensiswith Saxifraga rufescens，Dioclatndlottarealloe.9.allmetitiepessreofttit new distribution area was lower than that of the Erlangshan community.
